What you will learn

The Qa'idah Nooraniyyah is structured into six stages, each introducing new reading rules in a carefully sequenced order. Each builds on the last, ensuring a strong and lasting foundation at every stage.

  • Shaddah (ـّ) — letter doubling
  • Words with sukoon and shaddah
  • Common errors and corrections

How long does the Qa'idah take to complete?
Most students complete the Qa'idah Nooraniyyah in 3–6 months with one to two lessons per week. Children often progress faster with regular home practice. The pace is always set by the student — we never rush.
Do I need to learn Arabic first?
No — the Qa'idah Nooraniyyah teaches you to read Arabic phonetically. You do not need to understand the meaning of what you are reading. It is purely about recognising and sounding out letters and words correctly.
What comes after the Qa'idah?
After completing the Qa'idah, students progress naturally to our Qur'aan Reading course, where they apply their reading skills to the full text of the Qur'ān. Some students also begin Tajweed Rules alongside or shortly after.
My child is 5 years old — is this too young?
Not at all — 5 is an ideal age to begin. We use child-friendly materials, games, and repetition to make the learning enjoyable and effective. Younger children often develop excellent pronunciation habits.
I can read some Qur'ān but I have gaps — should I do the Qa'idah?
Yes — many adult students who learned to read as children have gaps or incorrect habits they are unaware of. The Qa'idah is an efficient way to identify and close those gaps properly.
